Understanding What's Being Discussed"
Presenter: Debra Schafer, B.A., Special Education Consultant
- Asking the Right Questions To Gather Facts and Data
- How to Discuss Evaluations, Goals, Services & Supports
- Dealing With Intimidation, Avoidance, and Lack of Details
NOTE: Bring your child's IEP (it will be for your use only)
to discuss the information you have and the information you need
as a new school year approaches.
Workshop Specifics
- All workshops will be held at the Autism Spectrum Resource Center,
14 South State Street, Newtown, PA. The Center is located next
to Newtown Travel and 1/2 block from The Brick Hotel which is
at Washington Avenue and State Street. Parking is available behind
the Center or on the street.
- Pre-registration is required as registration is limited. No
walk-in registrations.
- Cost for each workshop: $30 pp.
- Payment for workshops must be made separately to the individual
presenters (see details below). Refunds made only if requested
three (3) days prior to workshop date. No refunds for non-attendance
on the day of the workshop.
